Skin Disease Research Foundation is pleased to introduce three books
written by Dr. David Cram.

David Cram is a unique individual, an outstanding clinician, and a highly effective and caring physician.  He trained at the Mayo clinic and spent time in the military, associating with the hub of dermatology in England.  We were fortunate to recruit him to take charge of the clinical program at UCSF.  His astute observations and skill in teaching made him a memorable moment for the students, residents and ultimately his patients.  He participated in our research projects, adding to the depth and quality of our training program.

He was a joy and a pleasure to be around.  I was personally very proud of his accomplishments, attributes, and foresight.  In recent years, Parkinson's disease has sapped him physically, but not his mind which remains vibrant and productive.

He has written 3 books which we recommend to you all.  Typically, well researched, detailed and heart-felt they describe: (1) proper patient care; (2) psoriasis; and (3) most inward driven Parkinson's.

David stands tall in the pantheon of devoted teachers and giving, caring doctors.  He is a symbol for all the young to follow.

1.  The Healing Touch. Keeping the Doctor-Patient Relationship Alive Under Managed Care.

2.  Coping With Psoriasis.  A Patient's Guide to Treatment.

3.  Understanding Parkinson's Disease.  A Self Help Guide.
