The 20th Meeting was held at
Siam Inter-Continental Hotel
in Bangkok, Thailand on June
11 -14, 1997
President Suzuki enthusiastically welcomed the visitors and outlines the goals of the PSRC to foster fellowship and scholarship among young dermatologists globally but especially in the Pacific rim. The emphasis was on having an enjoyable, meaningful exchange in a relatively small meeting.
In the meeting room elegantly decorated with Thai flowers:
Moderators, Drs. C.H. Chang, K. Duangurai, and J.H. Epstein introduced the speakers of their session.
Drs. S.H. Cha and A. Fujioka presenting their work over a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
A variety of social events were planned to promote friendship, fellowship, and fun:
- The Thai Night at the Sala Thai garden was spectacularly unique and was one of the highlights of the meeting.
- Visiting Thailand was a special experience for most Westerners and a globally eye-opening experience. A Pre-meeting Tour of Northern Thailand was arranged and subscribed to by a small number of compatible people.
