The second meeting was held on May 24, 1974, at the Syntex Auditorium.  About 40 attended and were mostly from Stanford and UCSF Dermatology Departments, but Drs. Jon Hanifin (Oregon), Ken Hashimoto (Tennesee), and Colman Jacobson (Dulles, TX) joined us for the PSRC scientific session and the great hospitality of Syntex.

Dr. Ervin Epstein, Jr. (UCSF) and Dr. Norio Inoue, a Visiting  Postdoctoral Biochemist at UCSF originally from the University of Hokkaido, Hakodate, has become one of the leaders of the fish institute.
