In 1981, the Annual Meeting of the Society for Investigative Dermatology was held in San Francisco, and the 9th PSRC meeting was organized right after, on April 30 at the Syntex Auditorium.
 

The hallway of the auditorium was crowded with members and guests from the SID meeting for PSRC registration.

Syntex hosted two extravagant dinners during this PSRC meeting for speakers and guests. One was at the Holiday Inn Union Square, San Francisco on April 29th. The other was at the Syntex Dinning Room after the PSRC meeting.
