The 18th PSRC meeting was held in Nara City on October 22-24, 1993.  As the President of the meeting, Professor Seichiro Sagami welcomed the members.

The members were particulary happy to gather at the time in Nara, because it was shortly after Dr. Yukio Kitano, Chairman of the Organizing Commitee was appointed as Professor and Chairman of the Department of Dermatology at Hyogo College of Medicine. 

     
A silver plate was presented to Dr. Kitano and his family joined the celebration.  In his greetings, Dr. Kitano emphasized that PSRC meetings would provide a gateway for young doctors to become international investigators.
 
 


 
 

The overseas members did not forget to contribute "Duty Free" refreshments for renewal of friendships at the Hospitality Room in the Nara Hotel.
 
 
 

The Scientific Section was conducted at the newly built Nara Prefecture Public Hall situated in Nara Park and within walking distance from the Nara hotel.

Scientific levels of the 18th PSRC Meeting were excellent and we enjoyed our stay in Nara City for its history and beauty as well as the hospitality of the organizers.
