In the early 1970's, scientists interested in dermatological
research in the San Francisco Bay Area enjoyed personal friendships in
addition to exchange of scientific knowledge. In order to share the
activities with other students of Skin Research, we sought the possibility
of establishing a meeting forum. The idea became
a reality when Dr. Ken Burdick suggested for us to utilize the Syntex Compound
in Palo Alto.
The first meeting was held in 1973 and the presentation
of science improved, and friendships became closer.
We are sincerely grateful to those who had taken leadership
roles. At the same time, we applause the active PSRC
members receiving honors and special recognitions from other societies.
